Welcome to Scarborough Mediation Services
Mediation is a confidential, voluntary, "without prejudice" process in which a neutral third party, the mediator helps you to discuss and negotiate all issues surrounding your divorce or separation. Research shows that mediation improves communication and helps you build for the future in your new circumstances. In particular it can help your children maintain their family relationships.
Scarborough and District Mediation Services provides a safe and neutral environment for families affected by divorce and separation to meet and communicate in, therefore helping to cut the emotional and financial cost to the individuals. We help people to find mutual agreement for children, money and property issues without conflict. We also enable people to make their own decisions whilst maintaining respect for each other and appreciating their different needs.
By allowing the safe communication between family members, all sectors of the family unit benefit from our service, in particular children involved in the breakdown of a family unit.
